Hello there,
Tomorrow is the day of truth. Tomorrow my eclectic group of twelve will be boarding a plane and land in another sphere of the world. They’ll be doing disaster relief in central Philippines for two weeks. We heard the need after the typhoon and felt the desire to help and given the opportunity, we went for it.
After the two weeks in the Philippines, our team will be traveling over to Indonesia, where we will live for two months. While in Indonesia, we will be working with anti-sex trafficking ministries and safe-homes for the girls coming out of those industries. We will also be doing soccer ministries to reach the kids in the slums as well as surfing ministries because it is such a huge surfing destination. The biggest thing is that we will be walking in love and carrying the Truth that God has given us and that we are, as a team, so passionate about sharing with people.
I personally am in need of about $3,500 (for airfare and housing) and I am asking, in humility, if you would care to partner with me and support me in my financial need. God is a big god and I know He provides the best for His children and even if I don’t get to go with my team, or I go later, or I don’t go at all, He is still the most amazing decision I have ever committed to. Even thinking about it, my heart breaks for how much He loves all His people all over the world and they don’t know it yet...and that’s why I want to live like this, in hopes to pass along this great joy of knowing this amazing Father we have.
