T-I-M-E

Man oh man! You don't notice how much quiet time with God effects your daily life until you go without it for a while. I usually spend time with God everyday and every morning but, since we were traveling and moving and settling, I had forgotten to do it. I started feeling really anxious and worried and low energy and overwhelmed with so much and then I was reminded, "Oh, you haven't spent any set apart time with God for the past few days." So I read Jeremiah 23-33 and what a difference that made in my attitude towards everything. I feel the joy and the positivity and the passion poured back into me... it's interesting that we think we can be all that by ourselves but we realize soon after that we will get drained quickly and that is why we constantly need God to keep pouring into us so that we can pour right back out. Spending time with Him is super-duper important. I am really really focusing on the fact that God is enough. "God is enough. God is enough." There is nothing else we need besides Him; we don't need 'comfortable', we don't need money, we don't need a guy or a girl to make us feel loved, we don't need a permanent home, everything we could ever need is always right there with us and He will provide for us. Just coming back from the Philippines and having so little and moving from place to place and never being really settled or anything made me realize how much I have to cling to God in order to make it through. "God is enough." If we focus all our attention on that, we can do great and powerful things. Live a passionate and bold life for Him and you will end up doing and seeing some cool things.

Passionately His,
Rachael
