Saul & Peter

I have decided that I want to live like Saul (who later became known as 'Paul') and Peter did in Acts 9.
"Saul's preaching became more and more powerful, and the Jews in Damascus couldn't refute his proofs that Jesus was indeed the Messiah." Acts 9:22
"Meanwhile, Peter traveled from place to place... he met a man named Aeneas, who had  been paralyzed and bed ridden for eight years. Peter said to him, 'Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you! Get up and roll up your sleeping mat!' and he was healed instantly. Then the whole population... turned to the Lord." Acts 9:32-35
So they both are all out there preaching powerfully and proclaiming healing in Jesus' name and then they're like, "Hey! Let's bring someone back to life." So Peter goes:

"There was a believer in Joppa named Tabitha (which in Greek is Dorcas). She was always doing kind things for others and helping the poor. About this time she became ill and died. Her body was washed for burial and laid in an upstairs room. But the believers had heard that Peter was nearby at Lydda, so they sent two men to beg him, 'Please come as soon as possible!' So Peter returned with them; and as soon as he arrived, they took him to the upstairs room. The room was filled with widows who were weeping and showing him the coats and other clothes Dorcas had made for them. But Peter asked them all to leave the room; then he knelt and prayed. Turning to the body he said, 'Get up, Tabitha.' And she opened her eyes! When she saw Peter, she sat up! He gave her his hand and helped her up. Then he called in the widows and all the believers, and he presented her to them alive. The news spread through the whole town, and many believed in the Lord." Acts 9:36-42

Now that's the kind of radical faith I want. I have had the awesome opportunity to see so many amazing miracles and preach the name of Jesus with authority and passion in the Philippines and then I come home and still get these opportunities in California and now I'm realizing, "Oh hey, maybe this is what kind of life He's calling me to live for forever." I'm applying for different programs at different organizations to further grow and cultivate this passion in me but I know that wherever I end up going and whatever I end up doing, I am going to be doing some radical things because it's addictive living fully for Him. Why would I ever want to stop?

ps. I do have another goal to add to my list: Pray for and see somebody raised from the dead. It will happen. I have faith. (Don't worry, I'll totally blog about it.)
