Faith increases as we step out.

This week's lecture theme was the Holy Spirit and let me just say, He is awesome! Seriously, this week I have seen so much of Him and He feels more real than I have ever experienced (and this feeling is going to be a lasting feeling not just a fleeting one). The major thing that I am taking away from this week is that the Holy Spirit is a 'He' and not just an 'it'; and the other key thing I learned is that we do miracles and prophecy and healings and words of wisdom and other gifts in proportion to our faith. Therefore, the more faith we have, the more cool things we can do and the more cool things we do, the more faith we have. One day this week was especially powerful for me so I will just focus on that day (or else I would end up writing way too much and my computer would probably explode with power). This specific day was focusing on prophecy and Amy Sollars (our speaker) was telling us about some amazing miracles (i.e. people growing legs and eyes, and people coming back to the dead) which pumped me up spiritually and allowed me to see a lot of really cool things... and when I say 'cool things' I mean 'the Holy Spirit'. We were sitting in class and all of a sudden it looked like everything was tinted green (like I was looking through green-tinted glasses) and then my heart started to race and I felt excited and like there were butterflies in my stomach. Then the 'green light' (the Holy Spirit) went specifically onto the little map of the Western Hemisphere on the wall, I wasn't really realizing what it was but then I realized that it was covering South America! South American countries have really been on my heart lately so that was cool. I asked the Holy Spirit what the color green meant and I heard 'rebirth' and then during our class break, I asked Amy Sollars what she thought about the fact that it was green and she said that green usually symbolizes 'might' and more specifically healing. (Bonus: I got confirmation that my spiritual gifts are healing, miracles, and faith the day before.) This made me feel like I really am being called to go to South America to heal and see healing (physically, spiritually, and mentally) and witness a rebirth in the nations because of this mighty healing. Then after the break, when we came back to class, the Green came back but it was just like a flashlight not the whole room as before and landed on the huge map and covered South America and South Africa (which has also been on my heart) and stayed there for a long time. It looked like light was reflecting off green water and onto the map, so I thought it was just my eyes playing tricks on me (it wasn't) but it stayed for the whole rest of lecture and afterwards looking at the map I can tell that it was not a reflection or anything like that, it was the Holy Spirit and it was incredible.

Keep me, my classmates, the Philippines, and finances in your prayers.
