Fire & Passion

I officially know why God wanted me to go home and not stay in beautiful Hawaii now; revivalist movement in my home church.

I met with my friend Adam on Thursday to talk about YWAM and the Philippines and God and we both had this feeling that this passion we both were feeling was soon going to spread to our church. We felt like something radical was going to happen this Sunday. Well, it did. During the church service, I felt really restless so my mother and I went outside to talk... that talk turned into interceding for our church. We prayed for revival and some pouring down of heaven to happen... it did. We heard worship begin so we headed back inside. I was thinking, "I miss how people used to just go up and pray for each other in YWAM." God immediately answered with, "Then go do it." After praying for Kenzie and that fiery heart of hers, worship continued on and I had this strong urge to run up on stage and pray over everyone! I resisted but God heard my desires/probably put them there initatilly and right then our pastor invited people to pray out loud... so I did. It was passionate (because it was what God wanted to say to them.) After that powerful prayer time, the adults wanted to pray over the youth... so they did. A few minute prayer turned into over an hour of speaking into people, hearing God's plan for people, igniting fires, creating unity, spontaneous worship, praying for healing, praying for each other, lots of tears, lots of encouragement, God, breaking those boxes we put God in, laughter, change, revival, passion, anointing, and so much love. Seriously so much love. God is moving and revival is happening and it's happening in our little church in Temecula, CA. God gives us good gifts. It is actually really exciting being apart of this fire-starting. "Thanks for using me, God. You're pretty cool."

More fire to come,
Rachael

ps. And I thought I would have nothing to blog about! HA!
