A Normal Day in the Life of Us.

I AM IN THE PHILIPPINES! oh yes.
It is beautiful, it is energetic, the people are beautiful/magunda (seriously), it is so fun to be on this adventure, everything is exciting, I thankfully don't really have culture shock, the weather is super humid (but it's okay), it is exceptionally rainy for this time of the year so the roads are flooded by us, our house is lovely, our contacts are so hospitable and hilarious, the children are wonderful and I want to steal them all, it is so easy to talk to anyone here (which is like my favorite thing to do so I'm in heaven), the food makes me want to sing, we actually do sing...all the time..., I am in an internet cafe right now in a giant mall after riding a peddler (bicycle contraption) to catch the jeepnee (sort of like a bus but super squishy and I think I got a little high from the fumes) to get to the crazy huge mall to find the netc@fe to write this blog post. You're welcome mom. Don't worry, I am safe. I love you. I am eating all my food. I have money. No one has killed each other (yet). I am getting enough sleep.
I cannot wait until I have some awesome stories about our ministry times! Well, I guess I sort of already do... but you will just have to wait until I have more time to write... stupid FaceBook has to be sooo distracting. Well, I love it here and I am so thankful for being blessed with the opportunity to come here with awesome people who love Jesus and who love to serve Him and we get to serve Him by loving these amazing Filipinos. They are seriously the most beautiful (inside and out) and hospitable people I have ever met.

Love you all! Keep us in your prayers for health, safety, ministry, unity, love, and joy. |

ps. To those of you who sent me mail or messages, they are very dear to me and I read them every day. They really keep me encouraged. Thank you.
